The college has a well established infrastructure with 162 experienced faculty members. Among them 41 are with Ph.D and 42 are pursuing Ph.D. Research and Development is given more importance in the college. The total research grant received from funding agencies like AICTE, DST, DRDO and MSME is Rs. 316.43 Lakhs.

Students who have achieved both in academics and sports are to be honoured during the college day. Rs. 4.70,080/- lakhs worth prizes are won by students  in 2014-15 and they are awarded with an equal prize money during the College day. The students who stand first in academics are given cash prizes. Faculty who produced centum results are appreciated with 2000/- Rs cash award for each paper & 1000/- for more than 95%. The total prize amount received by the faculty members was Rs 5,67,000/- lakhs in the academic year 2014-15.
