Bag Seller's Son tops AIPMT- 2015

Haryana's Vipul Garg has topped the all India Pre Medical/Pre-Dental test, which was re-conducted after allegations of cheating, reports Manash Gohain. In the results, declared on monday, 18,610 Candidates were placed on the merit and wait lists. Vipul, Son of a bag seller, wants to study at delhi's Maulana Azad Medical College.


Vipul Garg, a boy from Jind, Haryana has topped All India Pre-Medical Test entrance examination 2015. His father, Vijender Kumar, runs a shop of suitcases in Jind. He secured 695 out of 700 marks. Hindustan Times reported, “Seventeen-year-old Garg, who has been undergoing treatment for a problem in his sinuses, said his medication made him drowsy while he was preparing for the entrance examination, but that did not deter him from studying hard.”

 

“My family worked very hard and faced lots of hardships to meet my expenses. I scored cent per cent in Class X and was given a fee waiver by the school for the remaining years. A private coaching institute agreed to waive off the fee for me while I was preparing for my medical entrance.” Vipul Garg said to Media.
