Brindavan College, Bengaluru, India is a premier educational institution of higher learning in the garden city of India, the Silicon Valley and the knowledge capital of India. The Brindavan College was established in 1993. It had a humble beginning with 127 students in B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com courses. It has over 1400 students from 46 overseas countries. The college is recognized by Government, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi which is the statutory body to approve professional courses and affiliated to Bengaluru University, the biggest in Asia having “five star” accreditation by NAAC. (National Accreditation and Assessment Council), instituted by Government. With more than a decade of excellence in professional education and training. Brindavan college is a leading college in Bengaluru. Over the years the Brindavan college has established a growing legacy of innovative thinkers and exceptional standards of academic achievements and it is one of the regions top educational institution. Students from more than 22 overseas countries have been sponsored by Government of India through Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR),New Delhi with scholarships to study various U.G and P.G programmes in our college.

Eligibility:

For BE (CSE/ ISE): 

• A good pass in the pre-university or XII standard or equivalent examination recognized by the university. However the candidate shall have secured 45% marks in the aggregate with Physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics.
• For SC/ST and OBC candidates : Minimum marks for the SC/ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka in optional subjects is 40% provided that the candidate shall have studied and passed English as one of the subjects.

For M.Tech:

• Civil Engineering - Structural Engineering: Candidates who have acquired BE/B.Tech/ AMIE degree in Civil Engineering by securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate. However in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Group 1 aggregate percent of marks in qualifying examination should not be less than 45%. The admissions are through central counseling on the basis of merit in PGCET or GATE. GATE qualified candidates are eligible for scholarship through AICTE. A few seats are also available under sponsored and Management quota.
• Mechanical Engineering - Machine Design: Candidates who have acquired BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering and Management/ Industrial Production Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering by securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate. However in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Group 1 aggregate percent of marks in qualifying examination should not be less than 45%. The admissions are through central counseling on the basis of merit in PGCET or GATE. GATE qualified candidates are eligible for scholarship through AICTE.

For M.B.A:

• Candidates who have passed Bachelor Degree examination of Bengaluru University with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate in all the three years of Degree examination or any other University equivalent thereto with 50% marks. However in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST & Cat-I the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45% of marks.

For M.C.A:

• The candidate shall have passed Bachelor Degree examination with not less than 50% of marks with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics as one of the optional or electives at Degree level of Bengaluru University or any other University equivalent thereto with 50% marks. Provided further that in respect of candidate who has studied and passed one of the subjects specified in the first proviso in the PUC/10+2 with 50% of marks in that subject shall also be considered for admission. However in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST&Cat-I,45% of Marks in that subject shall be considered for admission. At the time of admission students should have to produce the ranks obtained in any one of the National Level Test/State Level Test/PGCET/K-MAT score certificate.

For Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Diploma in Computer Science Engineering:

• A pass in Class X or its equivalent examination with 35% in each of the subjects with Science and Mathematics. student must have studied English as one of the subjects in Class X Non-Karnataka students should obtain Eligibility Certificate issued by the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka students who have passed class X in ICSE or CBSE should obtain Eligibility Certificate issued by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka.

Facilities:

Special Coaching in English: This is for students from different states who have studied in different mother tongues other than English provided sufficient numbers of students come forward for the same. For this purpose, an experienced Guest Faculty will be engaged. The charges are to be borne by the participating students. Tutorial System : Tutorial classes will be conducted at the end of every month. The duration of the class is two hours. Appropriate questions will be framed on the portions covered till then and distributed to the students. The students and teachers of concerned subjects will join for discussion. A test is conducted after every two tutorial to assess the performance of the students. Subject Clubs : The subject clubs in the department of Microbiology, Computer Science, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and Commerce and Management studies in the college are active and provide ample opportunities to the students to achieve academic excellence and be able to face the practical life after their studies. Cultural Associations : To explore the latent talents and to promote leadership qualities of the students the following departmental clubs function under the supervision of the Departmental Heads.
