 About Us :
NIT Surat is located in the outskirts of Surat city in an area known as Ichchhanath, at a distance of about 10 kms from the Surat Railway Station. It is on the way to a small sea-side resort known as DUMAS, from railway station. Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat is one of the 17 Regional Engineering Colleges that were established as joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat. It was established in June 1961. The college has now been given the status of Deemed University.

Eligibility :
For B.Tech :
- Not like the former process, NIT Surat gives eligibility only to the candidates those who have passed JEE Main Examination with good percentage marks.
- 60% Weightage is given to marks secured in JEE Main Exam and only 40% of weightage is given to the marks of candidates secured in their 12th standard board examination.
Fee Details : Rs 1.7 Lakhs per annum
For M.Tech : B.Tech
Fee Details : Rs 0.92 Lakhs per annum
