Eligibility:

• The students are admitted to the Bangalore technological Institute on merit, as per the directives of the Government of Karnataka from time to time, both to the Government Quota and the Management Quota.
• The candidate shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) in three subjects with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics and shall have completed PUC, 10 + 2, or its equivalent with English as one of the languages.
• Foreign/NRI students are also admitted to the B.E. courses. They must hold a valid student VISA.
• The fee structure is as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Karnataka. In case of NRI quota, the fees for the entire course to be paid in US$ as stipulated by the orders of the Government of Karnataka. Note that the students will legally bind any revision in the fees and admission procedure.

BTI has a profoundly focused Placement Cell. Delighting the students and companies is the mission of this department. The Department of Training and Placement facilitates imparting the maximum employment opportunities, to all the deserving candidates of final and pre-final year students of BTI. We always look at the employability skills and try to perfectly match with the requirements of the Industry. we also ensures that all the students at BTI, are given the ‘finishing school’ exposure in order to prepare them for the world of opportunities awaiting them. Placement cell is organized under Mrs. Asha joseph (Head, Department of CSE) with a co-ordinator from each department. Co-ordinators are in constant interaction with the students and assists them in getting sponsorship for various projects and in-plant / internships training of student in various industries.
