Under META University Concept announces 2 years Joint Degree Programme Master of Mathematics Education (MME) (equivalent to M.Sc Mathematics Education)

MME: For the first time in India, University of Delhi and Jamia Millia Islamia the two main universities of India, under the Meta University concept are starting a 2 years joint degree program Master of Mathematics Education (equivalent to M.Sc Mathematics Education) from the academic session 2013-14.

The course will be administered from the Cluster Innovation Centre, Rugby Sevens Building, University Stadium, GC Narang Road, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007

Eligibility:

Graduate degree in any discipline provided the applicant has done at least two full fledged papers in Mathematics at the undergraduate level.

Seats: 20 (twenty); University of Delhi (10 seats); Jamia Millia Islamia (10 seats)

Admission Procedure: The administrative center for conducting the entire admission process for the course will be the Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi. The physical distribution and collection of application forms and allotment of admit cards will be done by the Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi. The admission to the course will be through an entrance test (75% weightage) followed by an interview (25% weightage). Only those applicants which will be shortlisted on the basis of entrance test will be called for interview. The number of candidates called for interview will be three times the maximum number of seats available for the course.

Entrance Test: The entrance test will be on: 

The entrance test will consist of 75 questions each carrying one mark and will be of one hour duration. The entrance test will contain questions based on Mathematical Skills, Reasoning, Mental Ability, General Awareness, and Communication Skills in English Language etc

The centers for the entrance test will only be at Delhi

The result of entrance test will be displayed at notice board of Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi and on website of University of Delhi http://du.ac.in, Cluster Innovation Centre http://cic.du.ac.in and Jamia Millia Islamia http://jmi.ac.in on -------------
