In pursuance with the policies of the Government of India to start Engineering colleges in emerging technologies, the Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies is established at Aurangabad during the academic year 2009 - 10. Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies is affiliated to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and is developed as per the norms of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.

Vision: Eliminating the darkness of ignorance from the lives of people living in age – long poverty & help proceed towards knowledge to achieve all round development.

Mission: Providing quality education to socially & economically backward classes. Bringing out educational & cultural development of rural population providing standard facilities for hostel accomodation, physical education & value education.
