About Us:


Divya Jyoti College of Dental Sciences & Research has been in the forefront of dental education and health care service. It plans to make the College an international centre of excellence for dental education. It has been a constant endeavour to upgrade facilities and infrastructure with special emphasis on Continuing Dental Education Programme. The faculty has some highly regarded and experienced teachers who are experts in their domain knowledge.

Eligibility:


For BDS:

  • The person who attains the age of 17 years or more on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • Must have passed Senior School Certificate examination (10+2) of U.P. Board, or an examination recognized as equivalent there to with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, taken together both at qualifying and competitive examination and must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually in the qualifying examination.

In the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/Scheduled tribes/Other Backward Classes the marks obtained be read as 40% instead of 50%.

 

Admission Criteria:

  • He/She should attain the age of 17 years or more on year of admission. The age shall be determined as per entry in the matriculation/Secondary school or its equivalent examination certificate.
  • The candidate must have passed both the following examinations:-
  • Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of U.P. Board or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in english and 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together in qualifying examination. However, the candidate must obtain pass marks in these subjects separately.

The candidate must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of the competitive entrance examination by securing not less than 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together in the competitive examination.
