Government Polytechnic, Gondia is one of the premier institutions in Vidarbha region & started in Naxal affected area in 2009 which is run by Government of Maharashtra. Present annual intake of the institute is 360. This institute aims to develop the eminent engineers who are competent & committed to the highest professional standards in the field of engineering & technology. This institute has a land of 5.64 Hectares (about 13.93 acres). The construction of this institute is in developing phase. Phase 1 construction consisting of Main building, Class rooms, laboratories, computer lab, canteen etc is completed. Phase 2 consisting of Boys & girls hostels, workshop & library is completed recently & Phase 3 consisting of principals quarter, staff quarters, guest rooms, etc is in progress. Institute is committed to provide a quality education to the students. It is our strong belief that the extra - curricular & co - curricular activities are indispensable & is as important as academics. With this view in mind the institute provides all kinds of facilities, under different platforms to motivate & guide the students in a conductive atmosphere where the natural talent of the students is nurtured & flourished.
