H.R. Group of Institutions was established in the year 2005 by the visionary technocrat Er. Anil Agarwal. Initially it started with HR Institute of Technology in 2005 with B.Tech in EC, CS, ME & EEE. Soon after institutes of Pharmacy, Hotel Management & Management were opened in the years 2006 - 2008 for B.Pharmacy, BHMCT & PGDM & MBA courses respectively. A new Engg. College in the name of HR Institute of Engg. & Technology was set up in the year 2010. Today the group can boast of more than 2500 students & 200 faculty members. It offers a broad spectrum of courses ranging from B.Tech (CS, EC, ME, CE, EEE, IT), B.Pharm, BHMCT, MBA, MCA, PGDM to M.Tech (CS) & M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics). M.Tech (ME & ECE), M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Diploma (Mech. & Civil Engg). It is situated on National Highway No. 58 within Nagar Nigam limits with very good connectivity with city & Delhi. It has a green lush campus of more than 23 areas, free from pollutions, hustle & bustle of city. The institutions have huge modern instructional buildings with modern classrooms, laboratories, seminar halls & modern separate Wi-Fi hostels with in-house Gym for boys & girls, a modern cafeteria, semi Olympic size indoor swimming pool. It has a fleet of buses for picking students from different corners of the city & Delhi. All the institutes have modern labs, workshop & computer labs equipped with state of art equipments where students receive training on latest concepts of engineering, pharmacy, hotel & business management.

Admission Procedure:

For B.Tech: Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 examination of any recognized Board with Physics & Mathematics along with Chemistry / BT / Biology / Computer Science are eligible for admission to 1st year of B.Tech programme. Admission to 85% seats is done through UP State Engineering Entrance Test (UPSEE). 15% seats are reserved as management seats. Eligibility criteria for admission to management quota is minimum 50% marks in Physics, Maths, Chemistry / BT / Biology / Computer Science or qualifying in UPSEE Test / AIEEE Examination. This is, however, subject to policy / G.O. of the State Government / UPTU. Students willing to join H.R Institute of Technology through UPSEE counselling must indicate their choice of code 194 during counselling.

For B.Tech 2nd year (Lateral Entry): Candidates who have passed 3 year Engineering Diploma / B.Sc. with Mathematics from an institution located in U.P. with minimum 50% marks.

For B.Pharmacy: Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 examination of any recognized Board with Physics & Chemistry along with either of Mathematics / Biotech / Biology / Technical Vocational subject are eligible for admission to 1st year of B.Pharmacy programme. Admission to 85% seats is done through UP State Engineering Entrance Test (UPSEE). 15% seats are reserved as management seats. Eligibility criteria for admission to management quota is minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths / Biotech / Biology / Technical Vocational subject or qualifying in UPSEE Test. This is however, subject to policy / G.O. of the State Government / UPTU. Students willing to join HR Institute of Pharmacy through UPSEE counselling must indicate their choice of code 245 during counselling. All fees are payable through demand draft favouring H.R. Institute of Pharmacy, payable at Delhi.

For B.Pharmacy 2nd year (Lateral Entry): Candidates who have passed 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy from any recognized institution with minimum 50% marks (as per University norms) are eligible for admission to 2nd year of B.Pharmacy.

For Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (B.H.M.C.T.): H.R. Institute of Hotel Management (HRIHM) follows admission policy & fee structure as stipulated by the State Govt., AICTE / UPTU from time to time. The annual intake of students in HRIHM is 60. Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 examination of any recognized Board with any discipline are eligible for admission to 1st year of BHMCT Programme. Admission to 85% seats is done through UP State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). 15% seats are reserved as management seats. Eligibility criteria for admission to management quota are minimum 50% marks or qualifying in UPSEE Test / AIEEE Examination. This is, however, subject to policy / G.O. of the State Government / UPTU. Students willing to join HRIHM through UPSEE counselling must indicate their choice during counselling. All fees are payable through demand draft favouring H.R. Institute of Hotel Management, payable at Delhi.

For B.B.A. / B.C.A.:

• Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 examination from any recognized board in any stream are eligible for admission to 1st year of B.B.A. or B.C.A. programmes.
• Preference is given to the candidates coming through UGAT i.e. Undergraduate Aptitude Test organized by All India Management Association of India, New Delhi (AIMA). Candidates having fluency in English, having good personality along with good academic record will be preferred.

For M.B.A.: Admissions to MBA are done through UPSEE examination conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University / UP Govt. rules & regulations.

For M.Pharmacy: Candidates who have passed B.Pharmacy from any recognized Institution with minimum 60% (5% relaxation for SC) are eligible for admission & M.Pharmacy programmes.

For Diploma in Engineering:

• Eligibility & Admission for 1st year Diploma are as per the criteria notified by BTE Lucknow. Candidates who have passed 10th class examination minimum 35% of any recognized Board can seek direct admission against the vacant seats after the notification by BTE Lucknow U.P.
• Lateral entry: Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 examination of any recognized board with Science / Vocational Technical subjects or passed 10th class examination with 2 year ITI can seek admission directly in 2nd year.

For P.G.D.M.: Candidates appearing in CMAT / CAT / MAT & similar other national level tests are preferred. Candidates seeking admission will have to go through group discussion & personal interview.

For P.G.C.M.:

• Bachelor's degree from any recognized university in any discipline. Candidates appearing in final examinations are also eligible to apply for admission.
• Candidates with CMAT / UPSEE / CAT / MAT other similar national level score are preferred for admission in PGDM, PGCM (RM) & M.B.A.
