Indian Institute of Plantation Management (An Autonomous Organization Promoted by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GOI), a centre of excellence and the first of its kind National Institute, was established at the initiative of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. It is co-promoted by the Commodity Boards of India, viz., Coffee Board, Rubber Board, Tea Board, Spices Board and Plantation Industry Associations. IIPM has been conceived as a world renowned academic institution focusing in the field of plantation & associated agri-business and commodity management education.

Aim of the PGDM is to provide career opportunities and career advancement in Agri-Business, Commodity and Plantation Management. IIPM focuses on creat­ing a unique talent pool of plantation and agri-business professionals. Placement record has been bright and attractive. 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent CGPA in Graduation. Candidates appearing in final year exams i. e.

Admission & Selection:

All graduates, including graduates of agricultural and allied disciplines can apply with valid CAT / MAT / ATMA / PAT scores. Selection will be on the basis of past academic record, test scores, writing skill, group discussion and personal interview. “Our Institute uses CAT for short-listing the candidates for our Post graduate programme in management. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme”.

Reservation: The Reservation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates is applicable as per the Government of India rules, subject to meeting the other eligibility criteria for admission. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, through IIPM will award four Central Sector Scholarship for SC Students.
