The Institute was first established as Food Craft Institute in the year 1996 was upgraded to the Institute of Hotel Management in the year 2001. It is setup by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Rajasthan and affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, NOIDA, an apex body under the ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. It is situated in the heart of Suncity having 6.5acre of sprawling campus with separate girls and boys hostel and indoor & outdoor sports facility. Besides, there are three Kitchens, one Restaurant, Library, Guest Room, Conference Room, Training Bar, Front Office, House Keeping and Computer Lab, Hostel Facility. Eligibility:

For B.Sc HHA:

• The minimum qualification for admission is 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject.
• Age limit is 22 years for General / PH and 5 years for SC / ST candidates as on 1st July. In the case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years.
• Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can appear in JEE for being considered on provisional basis. Provisional admissions will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted to the concerned Institute.
• Admission will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates / documents to be produced by the candidates. Decision of NCHM&CT regarding the eligibility shall be final. Even after admission to the Institute if an applicant is at a later date found ineligible on account of supplying false information of false testimonials or for having suppressed any material information, his / her admission will be cancelled and the fee paid will also be forfeited.

For Diploma Programs:

1. The minimum qualification for admission is 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject.
2. Age limit is 22 years for General / PH and 5 years for SC / BC candidates as on 1.07.2009.
3. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board / Pre-University Certificate is the only authentic proof that will be accepted. At the time of councelling, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for admission.
4. Admission will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates / documents to be produced by the candidates. Decision of Principal, Institute of Hotel Management, Jodhpur regarding the eligibility shall be final. Even after admission to the Institute if an applicant is at a later date found ineligible on account of supplying false information of false testimonials or for having suppressed any material information, his / her admission will be cancelled and the fee paid will also be forfeited.
