The Institute of Management Education (IME) was started in 1995 with a full time PGDM programme duly approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, and Government of India. Placement provides a fitting finale to the two year rigorous PGDM Programme and three years MCA Programme at IME. IME has a consistently good placement record over the years. Eligibility:

L.L.B. (3 Years): Graduation in any stream with minimum 45% Marks (40% for SC/ ST) Age: 30 years or below (35 years or below for SC/ ST/OBC).

BBA/BCA (3 Years): 10 + 2 or equivalent.

B.Lib & I.Sc. (1 Year): Graduation in any stream with minimum 45% marks for General category (For SC/ ST 40% marks).

MCA: Graduates in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized university with mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation / BCA are eligible for seeking admission in the above program. (Subject to change as per MTU, Noida norms).

M.Com (2 Years): B.COM, BA, B.Sc, BCA, BBA

B.A. L.L.B. (5 Years): Minimum 45% in Intermediate/ Senior Secondary Examination (40% for SC/ ST). Age: 20 years or below (22 years or below for SC/ ST/OBC).

PGDM /PGDM (Marketing): An applicant should have a minimum of three years Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian University/ AICTE. Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply.

PGDM Admission Procedure:

• IME uses CAT/MAT for short listing candidates for all the above programmes.
• IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
• Apply to IME by filling in a separate application form for each programme. 
• Foreign/NRI applicants can apply by submitting valid GMAT scores. NRI applicants residing in India will have to appear in CAT/MAT.
• Final Selection will be based on the performance in CAT/MAT, group discussion/ simulation exercises, personal interview and Professional Qualification.
