Institute of Petroleum Management, Gandhinagar (IPMG) has been set up under Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) as a centre of excellence in industry learning to develop human resources to cater to the petroleum and allied energy sectors, improve knowledge base of policy makers and technologists and provide a competitive edge to leaders to compete in global arena. It has been promoted with the initiative of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (GSPC) a Gujarat government undertaking, which is a leader in the energy sector.

2 Year MBA
(Focused on Oil & Gas Sector)

After launching its first programme in session 2006, IPMG now announces the admission process for the intake of its 4th Batch (Session 2009) for the Two Year Residential MBA (Focused on Oil & Gas Sector). Candidates, appearing for the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs on 16th November, 2008 are only eligible to apply. The minimum academic eligibility criterion for admission to MBA (Focused Oil & Gas Sector) is a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification examination can also apply. Admissions shall be offered as per merit consisting of CAT Score and GD/PI score. The admission process is subject to the approval of the State Government.
