Ishwarchand Vidya Sagar Institute of Technology was established in December 2006. Eligibility:

For B.Tech:

• Duration = 4 years degree programme
• UPSEE / AIEEE rank or 10 + 2 with minimum 45% (5% relaxation in case of SC / ST) in Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects either Chemistry / Biology / Bio - Technology as optional subjects.
• Approved by All India Council for Technical Education. Ministry of HRD. Government of India & affiliated to DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow APJAKTU formerly UPTU).

For B.Tech 2nd year (Lateral Entry):

• Duration = 3 years degree programme
• For admission to the 2nd year (lateral entry) of B.Tech the candidate must have passed 3 years Diploma in Engineering course securing minimum 45% for General & OBC (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST category) marks in aggregate or 3 years B.Sc. Degree & Passed 12th standard with Mathematics as one subject securing minimum 45% for General & OBC (40% in Case of Candidates belonging to SC / ST category) marks in aggregate in B.Sc. as per details provided in the brochure

For B.B.A.:

• Duration = 3 years degree programme
• Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or its equivalent in any stream with minimum 50% for General & OBC (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST category) marks in aggregate.
• Affiliated to Baba Saheb Dr.Bheem Rao Ambedkar University. Agra U.P.

For B.C.A.:

• Duration = 3 years degree programme
• Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or its equivalent in any stream with math as compulsory subject with minimum 50% for General & OBC (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST category) marks in aggregate.
• Affiliated to Baba Saheb Dr.Bheem Rao Ambedkar University. Agra U.P.

For M.B.A.:

• Duration = 2 years degree proramme
• UPSEE Rank or 3 years degree from any recognized university securing minimum 50% for General & OBC aggregate in any stream (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST category) marks in aggregate in any stream.
• Approved by All India Council for Technical Education. Ministry of HRD. Government of India & affiliated to DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow APJAKTU formerly UPTU).

Facilities:

Sports: Game & sports foster the sportsman spirit which is an essential requirement for success in every sphere of life. In addition to the curriculum, students are encouraged to play games every evening. Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton is the most happening games of the campus in addition to table tennis & chess. Annual league matches (IVS Premiere League) among the students of all branches is held in campus to develop a healthy competitive spirit must survive in the corporate world.

Placements:

The entire gamut’s of academic activities are oriented to provide the best possible placement to the students in leading corporate houses / MNCs across India. Placement activities at IVS Group coordinated by Centre for Corporate Relations (CCR) aimed at providing comprehensive career & placement support for students & alumni. Centre for Corporate Relation is managed by a group of professionals. They are supervised by the Hon’ble Chairman & Vice President of MMG India Group & placement committee of the institute consisting of the Chairman – Placement Committee & Director among other. A group of active students along with Head – Placement is also involved in the placement process. They approach the top corporate for presentations & invite them to the campus for the recruitment. The CCR also organizes vocational & summer training for the students with good companies so that they can leave their mark on them & also completes their curriculum requirements. The cell also helps those students who are desirous of becoming entrepreneurs to identity their field & prepare them for it. Special grooming sessions are also conducted wherein communication skills, presentation skills, physical grooming & corporate dressing issues of students are addressed apart from seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits & career conferences.

The cell conducts lot of in - house mock interviews that helps in identifying the weak areas of students. Mock interview give a clear cut direction to the faculty as to which aspects of a student requires special attention. Ultimately, our endeavour is to develop our students into successful torch bearer of tomorrow & we need their commitment to excel & to contribute the process.
