Establishment of a Polytechnic at Rewa (MP) is a step in the right direction as this is going to provide suitable educational avenue to the students hailing from the district having combined population of more than 10 lakhs approximately.

The JPTC campus sprawls over a big land in Jaypee Education complex as a modern institution of higher learning in the field of technology education and training. The centre is being built on a well thought out plan to make it a self sufficient, vibrant modern center of excellence with the mission of providing an excellent quality of diploma level education and training, with a strong emphasis on industrial application of education and close interaction with the industry. It aims to produce professionals who can be leaders in innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity and management. The first academic activities started in the year 2010. Presently the institute offers 3 year (6 semester) diploma Programmers, in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Electronics Engineering. Six Semester Diploma program in Civil Engineering with strong practical gain is also going to be offered. The training centre has the  modern campus, well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories and library, which provides a pleasant and intellectually stimulating ambience for students in eco-friendly environment.

JPTC Rewa will also serve as the simulation training centre especially for the professionals of thermal power plant. This system is called OTS (operator training simulator package). OTS system is a major industry oriented training package. It is having hi-tech training room with other major components like trainee operator stations, instructor stations with dual monitor interface. process model computer, DCS cum engineering station, application server computer with simulation software etc.
