Established in 1999, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) became a constituent Nitte University in 2009. The Institution is named after its founder, the visionary, Late Justice K S Hegde, former Justice of the Supreme Court of India and former Speaker of the Lok Sabha.

Eligibility:

MBBS :

• A pass in 12th standard or equivalent examination approved by the Nitte University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study, with atleast 50% marks in aggregate of optional subjects.
• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.

Duration: 5 ½ yrs (including one yr of compulsory rotatory internship)

Fees : 5,50,000/- Per Annum

M.D /M.S :

The minimum qualification for admission to the postgraduate program is a MBBS degree or an equivalent degree recognized by the University and MCI.

• Attempt certificate issued by the college authorities
• Degree/Provisional Degree certificate issued by the University
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Council”s Registration Certificate
