Krishnasamy College of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 2001 with a view to provide opportunities for the rural population in the backward district of Cuddalore to acquire Technical Education especially in the area of Information and Communication Technology and create manpower for the emerging knowledge society. The College believes in imparting quality education to its students. It believes that Engineering Graduates should have hands-on experience in their chosen area of specialization.Though it is not possible to prepare tailor made employees in an academic Institution, the college has been striving hard to improve the employability of the graduates. A strong link with other educational Institutions and industries will help in improvement of quality of our graduates. The College is functioning with the philosophy that every academic department should function with sufficient autonomy to plan and implement their academic programs.

• OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) facility makes book searches easier with various options such as Title, Title/Author, Keyword(s) and Subject(s).
• Circulations of books are carried out through i-librarian software.
• Daily books are issued for the staff and students on a regular basis.
• In our College modern Digital Library, we have Focus Infotech Software with a high-speed internet access (8mbps).
• Separate sections for Periodicals, Back volumes, Reference Materials and Project Materials are provided.
• Reprographic facilities such as Photocopier, Printer and CD Writers are available.
• DDC coding, Bar Coding facilities enable the users to access the Library in an efficient way.
• An online journal database with a link to DELNET (IESTC & IMC package), is available
