Marudhar Engineering College (MEC) was established in the year 2003 under the auspices of Marudhar Education Society as a first self financed technical institute in Bikaner region. The College provides students a platform to transform knowledge to practice and also develop their technical and communication skills along with leadership qualities. In addition to technical skills the college inculcates social responsibility in the students. Marudhar Engineering College located at NH11, Jaipur Road, Raisar, Bikaner, Rajasthan is spread over 135 acres campus with sylvan surroundings and is about 19 km from Bikaner Railway Station, 20 km from Bikaner Bus Stand and 17 km from Museum Circle.

The college is being run in two shifts. The college offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Programme in five disciplines viz. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) (60 seats), Mechanical Engineering (ME) (60 seats in each of the two shifts), Electrical Engineering (EE) (60 seats in each of the two shifts), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) (60 seats) and Civil Engineering (CE) (120 seats in first shift) and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Programme in four disciplines viz. Computer Science, Digital Communication, Power System and Production Engineering with 18 seats in each discipline. The courses are approved by All India Council of Technical Education ( AICTE ), New Delhi and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University ( RTU ), Kota.

Our main strength lies in best infrastructural facilities, dedicated and experienced faculty having teaching, research and industrial experience. The college has all facilities & well established laboratories . The institution instils the thought that is fully capable of orienting knowledge and information in a scientific manner in the minds of the common mass. A friendly environment is also provided where teachers and students work together on different research projects and perform fieldwork to enhance the understanding of their subject. MEC provides an opportunity to the students to study abroad and get exposure at international level. The college has been duly registered as an institutional member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) from 2007.
