Eligibility :
B.Tech : One needs to qualify JEE (MAIN), where weightage to this Examination is 60% and to XII Board Examination Result is 40%. Admissions are on the basis of the rank in JEE (Main).
Ph.D. :
For Engineering, Technology and Architecture Departments :
- Candidates possessing M. Tech./ M. E./ M. Sc. (Engg.)/ M. Arch or equivalent Degree in relevant branch from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 70% marks (or a CGPA of 7.0 in 10 point scale) in the qualifying examination shall be considered for admission in the departments as per their Specialization only.
- Candidates possessing B. Tech./ B. E./ B. Sc. (Engg.)/ B. Arch or equivalent Degree in relevant branch from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 80% marks (or a CGPA of 8.0 in 10 point scale) in all (from 10th onward) examinations including qualifying examination may be considered in exceptional cases after approval of DRC. Such candidates must have professional/ research experience of at least ten years in reputed Institutions/Organizations.
For Science Departments : Candidates possessing Master’s Degree in the area of Science from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks (or a CGPA of 6.0 in 10 point scale) in the qualifying examinations shall be considered for admission in the departments as per their Specialization only.
For Humanities & Social Science Departments : Candidates possessing Master’s Degree in the area of English or Economics from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 55% marks (or a CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point scale) in the qualifying examinations shall be considered for admission in the departments as per their Specialization only.
