PIIT has been imparting free education to 25% students hailing from socio-economically backward classes, tribal communities, widows & martyrs children etc. In addition, meritorious students are also paid scholarship. In view of these activities we have received income tax exemption certificates under section 12AA and 80G from the department of Income Tax: Govt. of India. In addition, we have also got clearance and approval for receiving donations/ grants in adds under FCRA. Apart from this, PIIT is committed to inculcate the spirit of universal brotherhood amongst the students who we wish should grow into responsible and mature global citizens with essence of Indian values. For this; we make the students participate in activities which promote the following:

• Eradication of untouchability, addictions and other social evils.
• Upliftment of downtrodden.
• Spreading Principles of non violence.
• Social fostering.
• Propagation of Spiritualism and Secularism through weekly all faiths prayers.
• Free Medical and Health check up camps in the surrounding villages.
• Welfare activities during natural calamities like flood, famines and droughts.
