SECAB is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belguam, Karnataka. The Institute is located on a sprawling 10acres & 6.5guntas of land in the heart of the city within 1.5km from the central bus stand, 1/2km from Ibrahimpur railway station. The college building and campus presents a pleasing environment. Located at the highest point in the city the campus gives full view of Golgumbaz, the only whispering gallery and the largest dome in the world. The campus provides a peaceful back-drop for serious study. The Institute has spacious lecture halls, well equipped laboratories, workshops and vast playground.

Eligibility:

For BE: Pass in P.U.C or 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects ,along with one of the following subjects :Chemistry ,Biotechnology, Computer Science ,Biology ,Electronics and has secured not less than Forty Five percent(45%)of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages .And Forty percent (40%)in aggregate in option subjects in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Casts, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes.(only for the students of Karnataka State

Hostels: :Exclusive Hostel accommodation with well furnished rooms provided Separately for Boys & Girls.Boys Hostel is situated within the campus, Where as the girls hostel is located just oppossite to the College Campus In the ladies sector keeping in view the safety and security of the girls. Hostel mess providers both vegetarian & non-vegetarian food separately.

Discipline Rules for the Hostel Inmates: Student from the outside the state ,students from remote cities in the State will be given preference. On the basis of the honourable supreme court of India I n SLP(C) NO.24295/2004.Ragging is strictly prohibited and Students held Under such activities will be directly handed over to the police. Each individual student will have to give an undertaking that He/she will not rag other students and if any one is caught or is Complained against,such a student will be asked to leave the Hostel and the college.Supreme Court instruction regarding Ragging will be promptly implemented. Each individual male student will have to give an undertaking That That the will check in the hostel before 10.00 p.m and will not keep Awake after 12.00 mid night and should be present in the college by 8.45 a.m Male students found to be smoking/eating pan-parag or any other drug or Drinking-liquor will be summarily removed from the Hostel and the college. Girls student will have to check in the hostel by 6.30 p.m.No student will be Allowed to use mobile phone between 9-00 p.m.o and 6-00 a.m.

Sports: The college provides ample opportunity for the students to take part in all indoor and outdoor sports activities. Sports complex is located adjacent to the college and has facilities for playing and practicing Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton Football and Cricket. Our Basketball court is laid to international standards. A well equipped gymnasium including a multi gym is kept open throughout the day. Inter college tournaments, inter class matches and annual athletic meet are regular features in the sports section. Many of the students represent the university and the state in various sports& guided by the Physical Instructor Mr,J.T.Devaraddy
