Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College & Hospital was established in the year 1989 at Dhule, a tribal district in the North Maharashtra. It is one of the premier Institutes of Khandesh region. The health care services are offered to not only the tribal population living in the Khandesh region (Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon and Nashik districts) but also to districts of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Medical Council of India granted permission in the year 1996 college got affiliated to the Pune University, Pune. Later on to North Maharashtra University, Jalgoan. Presently, College is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik.Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College (SBHGMC) is a medical institution in Dhule, Maharashtra. To be eligible, the candidate needs to have passed in 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board, with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Admission Procedure : The candidates have to appear in MHTCET entrance examination to get admission in this program nominees and/or NRIs.Students come from all over India. The division of seats for students from the state of Maharashtra and Rest of India is as follows:

• Students from MHTCET (Maharashtra Health Sciences Common Entrance test): 85%
• Students from PMT (All India Pre Medical Test): 15%
