Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly is a self financed institute managed and run by SRMS Trust, Bareilly. It is founded in 1996 and the college has demonstrated perennial evidence of merit and quality by achieving a respectable position among all parallel private and govt. colleges of UP Technical University. The college offers comprehensive facilities for achieving the highest standards of academic excellence for students and faculty and college is also selected for TEQIP of National Project Implementation Unit of Govt. of India to be financed by World Bank.

The College is fully aware of having continuous Faison with Corporate House and govt. undertaking for industrial training and for campus placement of the engineering, pharmacy, MCA & MBA students. Keeping this in mind, college has a separate full-fledged placement cell headed by a person in the rank of a professor. This cell is activated collectively by the students and the heads of the departments. The cell is well-equipped with independent staff, modern means of communication etc. 

Industry Interaction:

The regular interaction with industries is being organized through lectures, case study competitions workshops; mock-interviews etc. in addition to expanding the student's knowledge these events help them to build vital relationships with several corporate and non-corporate organizations. The objective of creating interest in emerging areas, the activities of placement cell also involve visits to manufacturing and service set ups, disseminations of information's related to areas within its field, games, quizzes and live-projects. Industrial Training of 4 to 6 weeks is course curriculum requirement almost in all programmers and the same is arranged by the placement cell, which also identifies suitable projects for the students. After the student have to make presentations of the subject expert in his/her department. Performance feedback, project report and viva-voce of the students are the basis of the evaluation for the project work. The Cell has a unique feature of checking the students while undergoing training in different cities by sending faculty members and taking feedback from the trainers.

Eligibility:

For B.Tech – 1st Year Admission:

• 85% seats of total intake of all branches are allotted according to the merit list of UPSEE / AIEEE as per State Government directives through online counselling.
• 15% seats of total intake & Vacant/Lapsed seats in all branches are allocated on the basis of merit of 10+2 marks in PCM and aptitude test carried out by the college.
• Pass in the final examination of 10+2 or equivalent (with 60% marks in P.C.M.) from a recognised board. The student must also have a minimum of 40% marks.
• 2nd Year Admission
• 60% in Diploma / B.Sc. (PCM)

For B.Tech – 2nd Year Admission: Candidates who have passed Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) recognised by UP Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering / Technology except Agriculture Engg. or B.Sc. (PCM) with 60% marks are eligible for admission to second year. Applicant must have appeared in UPSEE.

For B.Pharmacy 1st Year Admission:

• 85% seats of total intake are allotted according to the merit list of UPSEE / AIEEE through online counselling.
• 15% seats of total intake & Vacant / Lapsed seats are allocated on the basis of merit of 10+2 marks in PCM & PCB & aptitude test / interview carried out by the college / rank in UPSEE / rank in AIEEE.
• Pass in the final examination of 10+2 standard or equivalent (with 60% marks in PCM / Biology / P.C. Bio‐Tech.) from a recognised Board.
• 60% in Diploma in Pharmacy.
• 2nd Year Admission
• 60% in Diploma / B.Sc. (PCM).

B.Pharmacy 2nd Year: Candidates who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy (with minimum 60% marks) recognised by the U.P. Board of Technical Education are eligible for admission to 2nd Year B. Pharm. only.

Eligibility for M.B.A.: 15% seats are filled on the basis of management quota admission procedure directly by the college as per the guidelines of affiliating university. 85% seats are allotted according to the merit of State Entrance Examination (SEE) of UP State through counselling as per the directives of AICTE, state government and affiliating university. 3 years graduation degree in BCA / BBA / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. or 4 yrs. B.Tech. / B.Pharm with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university & valid score in CAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA / SEE as per university rules.

Eligibility for MCA – 1st Year:

• 85% seats of total intake are allotted according to the merit list of UPSEE as per state government directives through UPTU counselling.
• 15% & vacant / lapsed seats are allocated on the basis of merit of marks at graduation level / rank in UPSEE.
• 3 years Degree course BCA / BBA / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. with 55% marks or Postgraduate in any subject from a recognised university with mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level.
• 2nd year admissions
• 55% in BCA/B.Sc. (CS)/B.Sc. (IT) with mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level

MCA 2nd Year (Lateral Entry): Candidates who have passed their Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B. Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level are eligible for admission to Second Year. Applicant must have appeared in UPSEE. 

Fee Structure: Fee structure is available on college website. Fee is to be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favour of “SRMSCET” payable at Bareilly.
