Labs: The students can work on one-on-one basis in the lab. The labs are equipped, with modern gadgets. The Fully Air Conditioned Computer labs has Network facility, which takes care of Basic Computer training, Linux, Unix, CAD, and major operations. It has more than 600 branded systems with LAN & Internet facility connected with the latest computers. Institution is equipped with the 750 systems in the campuswhich are being put into use in the campus speaks aboutthe modern facilities available. State-of-the-art learning technologies bring education toa new level, engaging students in new ways of learningthat are both productive and effective

Library: The library has adopted Open Access System. Documents are classified as per International Classification System 'Dewey Decimal Classification'

Automation: "LIBSOFT" software is installed in the library's Computers and used for Library Management. Bar-coding labels are pasted to all books in the library. 'Digital Borrower's Cards' are issued to all Staff and Students.

Books Borrowing: Students are eligible to take 3 books. Merit Students will get 5 books. Faculty will get 5 books. HOD's will get 10 books.

Books Reservation: Users can reserve a book, which is already lent out. Reserved books are kept in the counter 3 days. The reservation lapses automatically after 3 days.

Digital Center and Internet Facility: Library's 'Digital Centre' is having a good collection of CDs/ DVDs. Users can scan and refer information available in CD's/DVDs. Also, Internet facility is provided in the digital centre for web search.

SC/ST Books Bank Facility: For the benefit of SC/ST students, 'Books Bank' facility is available in the Library. Eligible student will get 4 books for one semester period.

Reference and Referral Service: The Library staff is providing Reference and Referral Service to Students and Faculty.

E- Publications: Library has 'DELNET' online Connection, which provides access to a 35 lakhs records of publications which includes 331 e-Journals and a large numbers of articles.

Reprographic Facility: Users can take Xerox copies of Reading material available in the library from library's 'Photocopier' for nominal charges.

Inter Library Co-Operation: Our Faculty and Students can visit the following libraries with their ID Cards for reference purpose and also can take Xerox copies of literature of their interest for project, study or research purpose.

Placement:

SVCE has reached TOP 01 position at Bangalore North in organizing pool campus drives. 25 + months of placement activities, 150 + pool campus drives, 3500 + offer letters issued, 150 + different college students visit us for campus hiring, 25 + companies visit multiple times, On any pool campus event day the campus is open from 7AM to 12AM, Dedicated, committed, disciplined and energetic student volunteers have given support to reach the above results. SVCE has been a pioneer of sorts in its placement records over the last few years essentially raising the benchmark. Right from summer internships and midterm projects; up to the final placement, various academic and non-academic initiatives to empower the students to meet the increasingly competitive and challenging corporate requirements are undertaken. Networking with the alumni is also a vital link in facilitating excellent placements for the new pass outs. Placement office maintains excellent networking with the institution's alumni and has been very successful in placing students in coveted jobs not just in the country, but also overseas.

To achieve the objective of preparing candidates, placement office plays the role of philosopher, trainer and guide for the potential managers and leaders. This activity involves preparing Cvs, presentations on current topics, improving interview skills, personality development, guiding in overall conduct, etc. To that end, training is imparted through motivational films audio visuals, mock sessions, and so on.
