For B.Com (Professional)
- 10+2 (Commerce) with 40% marks

For B.Pharmacy: Candidate should have qualified 10+2 (Med/ Non- Med) examination from a recognized board, with at least 45% marks (40% in case the candidate belonging to reserve category)
OR
Lateral Entry to 2nd year for students: who have passed D. Pharmacy with at least 50% marks from a Recognized Institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India.
For B.Sc (Nursing)
- Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively.
- Minimum education :10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks.
- 10+2 passed out from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
- Student shall be medically fit.
- Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School.
- Student shall be admitted once in a year.
For B.Sc. Post Basic Nursing: GNM Pass and registered as RN,RM with State Nursing Registration Council.
- Age Limit : Candidate should complete 17 years on 31st Dec of that year & should not be more than 35 years
For M.Sc. Nursing (All subject)
- General Candidate : B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% marks
- SC/ST category : B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum passed marks
- Work Experience : One year of experience after B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Age Limit : N/A
For M.Pharmacy (All subject): Candidate should have qualified B. Pharmacy examination with minimum 50% marks from a recognized institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India.
For MBA: Graduation in any Stream with 50% marks

Computer Lab: Swift Campus FacilitiesKeeping in view the increased emphasis on technology all departments of SGOC has fully developed computer labs. The labs are equipped with latest software like SPSS, Oracle, Visual Basic, business software etc. The Labs are spacious and have enough computers to accommodate all the students at same time. Round the clock internet facility is available through Wi-Fi which helps them in academic study and research work.
Wi-Fi Campus: Focusing on the need and importance of Internet in the field of education, SGOC is a fully WIFI campus. The high speed internet facility allows students to access uninterrupted Internet connectivity anywhere within the campus. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not only restricted to class rooms but also extends to all the areas including library, Auditorium and hostels. All the websites browsed by students are regularly monitored.
Library: Swift Campus FacilitiesSGOC houses separate libraries for all the departments. The libraries have a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which includes books, journals, databases, audiovisual material, CDs, e-journals, annual reports of top corporate, case studies, conference proceedings, training manuals, etc. They are well equipped 24x7 internet facilities to help students in their studies and research work.
Hostel: The Institute provides Hostel facility, separately for both boys and girls .The hostels are well furnished with A.C. and non A.C. rooms for students. For Girl students studio concept rooms are also available with attached pantry and washrooms. There is provision of 24 hours power and water back up with wireless internet connectivity providing a professional ambience for work. All the floors are fully equipped with essential amenities like water coolers, internet access points and telephone facilities. There is a centrally located dining hall, which has easy access from all blocks. The food prepared is of all tastes. The hostel mess is managed by the students’ body, with the help of an advisory body of the institute. Besides these facilities, there is a T.V. lounge, a gymnasium, a recreation room and facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
Canteen: Swift Campus FacilitiesCollege has spacious canteen facility in the campus itself. A variety of food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the college at highly affordable rates with highest quality. Adequate seating facilities are provided to accommodate students and staff even during peak time. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter.
Transport: Swift Campus FacilitiesSGOC has a well organized facility of transport catering to the areas of Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Derabassi, Ambala, Patiala and Rajpura. Students desirous of availing transport facilities are required to fill in application form and deposit transport fee. The necessary documents are to be submitted to the transport in-charge along with 2 passport size photographs. Students shall get the bus pass which shall carry details of bus route and its timings etc. Students are expected to strictly follow all the rules and regulations related to availing college.
Placement
The main objective of training and Placement cell is to provide personal and career related support to the students with special emphasis on world class training on employability skills and ultimately provide placement in various Industries/Organizations by arranging campus recruitment drives & walk-in interviews. The Placement office handles all aspects of campus placements of SGOC. The office is well-equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of placement process. The arrangements for pre-placement talks, written tests, interviews and discussions etc. are all handled by the placement cell & placement committee of college students. The following facilities are made available:
An auditorium to conduct the pre-placement talks.
- Well-furnished and air-conditioned room for interviews.
- Fully computerized office.
- Well-trained and organized placement committee (student representatives).
- The placement policy and other related activities are handled by the T&P Cell in consultation with the companies hiring manpower.
