Unique Institute of Management & Technology (UIMT) was established on 3rd Dec 1996 at Rajchopla Modinagar by (Prof) Udai Veer Singh under the aegis of Unique Academy of Professional Development Sanstha, a registered body vide registration no. 1508 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Prof. Singh was a visionary & possessed an innovative mind & intellect to create something unique. The seed that he had sown has now blossomed into a mammoth tree as a result of which the Institute at present is imparting professional courses like BBA, BCA & B. Ed at graduate level are affiliated to Choudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut & MBA & MCA approved by AICTE, New Delhi & are affiliated with UP Technical University, Lucknow. The sancti ned strength of seats for BBA, BCA & MBA is 120 each, 200 in B.Ed, 45 & 50 in MCA & BTC respectively. The success rate in final examination in MBA & MCA is cent per cent, while in B.Ed the result is on the top amongst all sister institutions in the University.

Eligibility:

For B.Ed.: Admission based on counselling followed by Entrance Examination by UP State Universities.

For B.C.A.:

• For admission in BCA a student should be passed intermediate class with any stream and score second division:
• A student must have mathematics subject in 10th class..
• Students can take admission by merit list followed by registration approved by CCS University.

For B.B.A.:

• For admission in BBA a student should be passed intermediate class with any stream & score 2nd division:
• Students can take admission by merit list followed by registration approved by CCS University

For M.B.A.:

• The Scores of the State Entrance Examination (SEE), conducted by the Utter Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) would be applicable for taking admission in the Government category seats of MBA programme.
• However, for admission on the Management category seats of MBA, the procedure would be notified as soon as it is received from Utter Pradesh Technical University (UPTU)
• Any student who passed XAT, MAT, CAT.

For M.C.A.:

• Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree, of minimum 3 years, in any discipline with minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate from recognized university & with mathematics at 10+2 level.
• Candidate should have passed Bachelor's degree, in any discipline, with Mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized university.
• Duration = 3 Years Degree Programme
• Intake = 45 Seats

Admission Procedure:

For M.C.A.:

• Admissions shall be made on the basis of Inter-se merit of online entrance test
• (UPSEE) conducted by UPTU Lucknow.

Facilities:

Library: Role of library in education is not confined to elementary & secondary education only. It is much more important in higher & professional education. Library is an essential prerequisite for successful implementation of higher educational programmes. Books are sure media for knowing the latest trends in knowledge. Without the help & ready availability of a library, no formal education programme can fructify. The ground floor of the triple storied library has been designed as the Reading Section, Reference Section & Electronic Media Library Division. The 1st floor is devoted to a section containing Journals / Periodicals, Dissertation Reports & Project Report etc. The 2nd floor devoted to text book area where as 2 separate sections contain books on management & I.T subject.

Hostels: UIMT has a separate hostel for boys & Girls at Rajchopla on Delhi- Meerut Highway Modinagar with the highest standard of living where students can put in extra hours of effort with atmosphere of interactive living & creative moods. In the hostel, students share a variety of good living, sensitive attention & a nostalgic homeliness. The hostel has 200 twin sharing rooms. The hostel provides Air Conditioned rooms also. It has dining room, common room equipped with facilities for indoor games & gymnasium. A committed & dedicated resident warden looks after the affairs of the hostel. The hostel also provides locker facilities to the residents. Students also get a highly professional on-campus laundry service. The hostel has separate medical & physical rooms & T.V. room also. The hostels have power backup through genset support to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply. A good number of magazines & newspapers are subscribed to the residents of both the hostels.

Placements:

UIMT has had the highest no. of Placements in India & had the unique distinction of having placed more than 99% of its students over the last 10 years & more. Each year, all the major companies come to campus to make presentations & to interview. All the eligible students who required placements got placed from the campus itself. It has been observed that more than 70% of each class usually accepts offers from companies that recruit on campus. Many students use UIMT resources to conduct networked job searches, targeting smaller companies, entrepreneurial ventures & not-for-profit organisations. The Institute’s Strategic Management group (SMG) assists eligible students in securing suitable jobs. For this purpose, the office keeps effective contacts with firms all over India, as well as globally maintaining & performing liaison work between possible employers & the Institute’s students. 

Students must, however, note that the Institute is a place for serious academic pursuit & not an agency to provide employment. No fee is charged for the service & no binding obligation to find a job for any student is accepted by the Institute. Students all engaged in internship with different organizations & a stipend is being paid to them. Depending on the recruitment policy of organizations, students are usually absorbed as Junior Executives in appropriate pay scales with allowances if their performance is found satisfactory during the period of Internship.
