Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Examinations (KEAM 2018)

About Us KEAM:


Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Examination (KEAM) is conducted on the behalf of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The students who want to earn a degree in engineering / agriculture / medical / architecture then, take KEAM examination 2018, in general.

 

KEAM Admission Procedure:

The candidate can get the application form & brochure from the selected Canara Banks in Kerala & outside the state. Only one form is needed for applying in more than one course.

 

All candidates will receive the application form, OMR Data Sheet, an envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and the Prospectus. Candidates should ensure that the Application number printed in the Application Form, OMR Data Sheet and on the cover are the same.

 

Exam Pattern:

There is two papers conducted on two consecutive days. All the questions will be multiple choice questions i.e objective type. The two papers are -

  • Paper I:  Chemistry & Physics
  • Paper II: Mathematics or Biology

Those who wish to take admission in Engineering courses except Architecture have to attempt Paper I & Paper II based on Mathematics. Those applying for Medical, Veterinary & Agriculture courses have to give Paper I & Paper II of Biology.

Eligibility:


Every university or board of engineering exam in India takes admission according to some set of criteria predefined by them like educational qualification, domicile requirement, age criteria etc. KEAM also has set of qualification criteria which will be successfully fulfilled by candidates at the time of appearing in entrance exam upon successfully follow up candiate's admit cards will be issued by KEAM exam board authorities.

 

Educational Qualification Criteria: 

Engineering Courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Bio-technology/ Computer Science/Biology put together are eligible for admission. Candidates having Three year Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations, Kerala or equivalent, having 50% marks in the final Diploma examination, are also eligible for admission. However, these Diploma holders are not eligible for admission to the Engineering courses offered by Kerala Agricultural University.


Medical/Agriculture/Veterinary Courses:
Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together. Those who wish to take admission to MBBS/BDS courses should acquire 50% marks in the Medical Entrance Examination (As per the guidelines issued by Medical Council of India).

 

Age Criteria: The candidate should complete 17 years of age as on.Candidates being in preparation to crack KEAM entrance exam, Karnataka must go through eligibility qualification criteria KEAM.

Paper I: 23/4/2018(Monday)(10:00-12:30 PM)

Paper II: 24/4/2018(Tuesday)(10:00-12:30 pm)
