About MHA CET(MBA/MMS):

One of the main reasons for advancement in Maharastra Technological studies is that this state houses two economic power houses of India, Mumbai and Pune. Maharastra is the third largest state in terms of area and population, and one of the favorite destinations for aspiring technocrats. The State of Maharastra is home to 155 engineering colleges or some of the universities in maharashtra with an annual intake of 48250 students (according to 2004 Statistics). Among all the engineering colleges  VJTI, D J Sanghvi College of Engineering, Government Engineering College Pune are some of those institutions, which have established themselves as instances of perfect quality for studies and research among students, academicians, educationists and scientists. 

MHA CET entrance test, one of the premier engineering entrance exam in India. The MHA-CET is an annual entrance exam conducted by Maharashtra Government. One of the distinguishing features of the MHA CET exam is that, it does not carry any strict domicile requirement. Candidates from Maharastra and other states of India are welcome to appear for this examination. On this context one aspect needs special mention that the non Maharashtra candidates can apply for the admissions against the Institute level seats and the vacant seats after completion of Centralized Admission Process. But this condition is completely applicable in case of the Unaided Private MHA CET Engineering Colleges/Institutes.

MHA CET Exam Pattern:

The MHA CET Entrance Exam consists of three question papers of subjects mathematics, Physics & chemistry, Biology - Botany & Zoology.

Paper I: Physics & Chemistry (50 marks each)

Paper II: Biology -Botany & Zoology (50 marks each)

Paper III: Mathematics (100 Marks)

Offered Courses in Maharashtra CET:

Through Maharashtra common entrance test (MHTCET admission test), candidates is offered to pursue their degree courses in following streams:

Eligibility:

Each candidate who is desirous to be part of reputed colleges of Maharashtra Technological studies must fulfill qualification criteria strictly.

1. Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed 12th class examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exams with minimum 50% marks and in case of candidates of Backward categories (only for Maharashtra State) with minimum of 45% marks and Candidate should have a positive AIEEE Score.
2. Completed State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
   

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign National or Children of NRI:

In addition to the above basic eligibility criterion the candidate should also prove their eligibility verified by the respective University Authorities before seeking admission and are not required to appear for the MHA-CET or AIEEE.

Eligibility criteria for specialized branches of Engineering:

• Bio- Medical Engineering: Candidate should have passed in the subject of Biology in the qualifying examination in addition to the above eligibility criteria’s. 
• Bio-Technology Engineering: Candidate should have passed in the subject of Biology or Biotechnology in the qualifying examination in addition to the above eligibility criteria’s.
  
• Mining Engineering: Female candidates are not eligible for Mining Engineering course.
  
• Marine Engineering: Candidates aspiring to take Marine Engineering Course should directly contact the Principal of the college for eligibility criteria.

Maharashtra CET Admission Procedure:

Maharashtra government has come up with a set of established rules for admitting students in the vacant seats left with various colleges after the Centralized admission process is over. Step by step admission process:

1. Combined CET for Engineering or Technology, Pharmacy and Health Science Courses (MHT-CET)
2. CET is applicable for Maharashtra and Outside State candidates also.
3. First three rounds are through centralized allotment process by Direct Allotment for Maharashtra and All India (AIEEE).
4. Fourth Round by is a Centralized Counseling process on the basis of MHTCET marks only for Maharashtra candidates.
5. Seats remaining vacant after fourth round to be filled at Institute level with the Priorities specified. For Govt. Institutes, on the basis of MHTCET-2018 marks. For Unaided Institutes as per guideline in Information Brochure.

The Competent Authority is conducting CET (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2018) For admissions to the Full Time Masnagement courses viz. MBA/MMS for Academic Year 2018-19.

The Online Applications are invited for CET for admissions for First Year of Two- year full time Post Graduate Degree courses in Management (MBA/MMS) in the government, Aided, University Managed, in the Maharashtra State.
